Founder and Managing Director
Diana Welch, RN, BN is a registered nurse with over 15 years of experience in women’s health. Her career grounded in family medicine, obstetrics, and fertility care has been devoted to supporting women through every stage of their health journey.
Frustrated by the delays women with dense breast tissue face in accessing breast ultrasound screening, Diana founded BreastCare Imaging with a clear mission: to provide timely, proactive access to advanced breast imaging in a setting that prioritizes prevention, empowerment, and peace of mind.
For Diana, BreastCare Imaging is more than a clinic—it’s a mission to ensure that our mothers, daughters, and sisters get the breast screening they deserve. We know early detection save lives - and every woman should have the power to protect hers.

Dr. Ali Farahani
Medical Director
Dr. Ali Farahani is a dedicated physician, innovator, and advocate for proactive, patient-centered healthcare. As the founder of Preventum Health, he has championed a model of care that emphasizes prevention, early detection, and empowering individuals to take control of their health.
Dr. Farahani also serves as the Medical Director of BreastCare Imaging. He understands the critical role of preventative screening in improving health outcomes and remains committed to advancing access to these services. Under his leadership, BreastCare Imaging is making leading-edge breast imaging more accessible, ensuring patients receive the timely, high-quality care they deserve.
Laura Raes
Medical Sonographer
Laura is a highly skilled medical sonographer with over 15 years of experience practicing in Canada, the United States, and internationally. She is registered in abdominal, OB/GYN, and breast ultrasound, bringing a wealth of clinical expertise and a global perspective to her role at BreastCare Imaging.
Throughout her career, Laura has demonstrated a consistent commitment to excellence in diagnostic imaging and patient-centered care. Her proven ability to deliver accurate, high-quality imaging is matched by her compassionate approach, ensuring every patient feels supported and at ease during their visit.
As a key member of the BreastCare Imaging team, Laura combines technical precision with genuine empathy—helping to elevate the standard of care and advance the mission of accessible, preventative breast health services.
